Hi,Whaleylaker I am taking oxycontin 30 mg three times a day,the oxycontin does not come in a 30 mg tablet so I take a 20 mg tablet with a 10 mg tablet in the morning,in the afternoon,and in the evening.
And for bt pain I take percocet.
And for bt pain I take percocet.

Thanks Now I get it. So if my math is right you're taking 90mg/day? Do you think that's the right dosage instead of going upto 40mg of oxycontin?Lake

Yes, it is a perfect dosage it works great for me.I started out on 50mcg of the duregesic patch for a few months with little relief and then my pm doc switched me to 20mg of oxycontin twice a day,then 30mg twice a day,then 30mg twice a day with 20mg in the afternoon,and finally 30mg three times a day it's funny that something as strong as the fentanyl in the duregesic patch which is the strongest narcotic did not work for me but some things just work better for different people.
