I AM ON PERCOCET AND DURAGESIC PATCHES AND FEEL VERY DRAINED COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT VITAMINS AND MINERALS ARE BEING DEPLEATED OUT OF MY BODY AND WHAT I SHOULD BE TAKING. IS A MULTY VITAMIN ENOUGH SORRY ABOUT SPELLING THANKS I POSTED THIS UNDER VITAMINS BUT I THOUGHT SINCE I HAVE CHONIC PAIN IT SHOULD BE HERE HELP ME PEOPLE

I am on the same EXACT med's as you are on.., Percocet and Duragesic Fentanyl patches!! What a coincidence!
Anyway, I am not a doctor or even a nutritionalist, but I was recommended to try something called "Seasilver" it is a 100% natural LIQUID vitamin and let me tell you, it has saved my life. I just wanted to back up the Seasilver thing. It is the only vitamin I can take so far that does not make me sick. It has caused me to use less insulin, loose weight, and my wife’s blood count was raised right before her major surgery that she was taken off of the blood transfusion list right before her hysterectomy. This stuff does do well for most all I have talked to. It is just tooooooooo expensive.

I'm so glad that I came across this posting. My meds (not as strong as the ones you have mentioned) make me so tired. I don't sleep well because of my pain either, but I'm constantly exhausted and when I take my pain meds (especially at work) it pretty much knocks me out. I'm afraid to discuss it with my doctor because my meds work well for the pain, but I'm afraid if I tell him how they affect me (the tiredness) that he'll take me off them and put me on something else. So, I'm going to try what you've suggested and see what happens. Hopefully it'll work for me, too.
One last thing: to the person who posted the med / thank you for posting the website....I'm headed there now. You guys rock. This site rocks. I've learned so much and made some many new friends.....I'm so thankful that I found this site.
