Hi JW, Opiates tend to dry out your mouth and many people have severe teeth problems, cavities, recurrent decay at margins of existing filling. The one that comes to mind is the B vitamins. MY saliva was thick and the corners of my mouth cracking when I changed dentists last time. He immediately said I had a B deficiency. Within a couple of weeks after starting Bcomplex Vits My saliva had thinned out and the cracks healed.
The is a special formulation of B vits that some folks have had great results with, It's called methyl B, not just any B vit but methyl B, you probably need to go to a specialty shop to find this but folks have raved about clearer minds, and a new sharpness from this version of B. I haven't tried it myself but on another site it seems to be the rage. The methyl B should help with the mouth dryness along with cognitive function. It's probably worth a try if you can find this form of B vit. If not Bcomplex will help with preventing mouth problems and recurrent decay. Good luck, David
Magnesium is also supposed to help with restless leg syndrome if you haven't found relief with other medication. Those are the two that come to mind.
Good luck, Shore
