Just to explain my actions, Sometimes that adversary depression lurks deep in my brain and occasionally takes over my thoughts and I start being my worst critic.
After reading all of the nice messages, I couldn't possibly not be feeling uplifted. I have no one to blame, but myself.
On a more cheerful note, I searched the greeting site to find the right words. These words fit my philosophy of life. "Life was meant to be embraced, not just endured, treasured, not tolerated, savored not just survived, life was meant to be celebrated.
Thanks to everyone for caring.

Hi Dear Friend.
Missed you.You just needed time to get back to us.As I read your" philosophy of life," I thought here I am feeling sorry for myself because of the sickies. Why can't I have this !!.So Bruce here you are again with your caring .I read once that PD is a foe not an enemy.I think it was Sidney Dorro's book on his path through PD.Welcome Back,

Bruce, I don't share much these days, but always look for your messages when I check this site as you are a light in the darkness of preoccupation with the negative and mechanical aspects of PD.
One reason I don't spend much time on the PD web is the small amount of positive sharing that goes on. Thanks for being here and for coming back.

Bruce, THANK GOODNESS, you'r back. I read your message regarding leaving us, right after it was posted and was so in shock and disappointed I couldn't say anything. I agree with all the others, we need you. You have been so helpful to so many.
I agree with Chuck, we need to share, but most important, share the positive, when ever we can.

:)
Chuck,
Welcome, we do hope you return.

Chuck, I think I understand your feelings about not enough sharing of positive feelings. I always believe in being honest in what I write, but I try to avoid posting negative thoughts
I wish I could describe how good it made me feel after reading all the nice words about me leaving the boards.
I have always thought that life is a series of adjustments and come to expect that we all are growing older and how we come to terms with that determines are happiness now and in the future. Of course, everyone has a bad day once in awhile, but to paraphrase a famous quote "the enemy is us" or the example when two people look at a glass half filled, one says it is half empty, the other half full. I am probably getting carried away, but just wanted to present some "food for thought."
I just talked to the neurosurgeon's office, and I havn't seen him yet their is a possibility I will have the DBS in December.
Hang in there. Thanks again to my many friends on this board. Bruce
