I wanted to make sure I didn't mislead you about this certification thing. Here is a quote from SS. "The documents presented as evidence must be either original or copies certified by the issuing agency. We cannot accept uncertified or notarized photo copies as evidence since we cannot verify their authenticaty."

Before you ask, I have no idea what they are talking about.The Social Security web site is a very large site and I had to use the search words "disability, Social Security"Pick the title "Social Security online". On the home page look at the menu on the left and select "How to". It is the only part of the site that I could find that was easy to follow.

I qualifyed the first attempt, and you should too. Good luck! Bruce

Bruce thanks for all of your effort. I have already qualified, I was asking about the certification for my son. He also qualified thru mine and they requested the original or a certified copy of his birth certificate. Thanks again for your help.
