This was taken from USA Today. "can laughter keep you healthy? It is possible. Laughter helps keep life in balance and is a key part of a healthy lifestyle. Researchers say laughter helps produce NK cells, which fight infections, including pneumonia and bronchitis. Laughter helps also suppresses the release of cortisol, a hormone that weakens the immune system. It functions as a natural analgesic, which raises the body's pain threshold, and acts as a muscle relaxer. And laughter increases circulatory capacity and strenghens organs , helping the body to become more resistant to infection while boosting energy levels.

Looks like a "new miracle drug."
