I just returned from an appointment with the surgeon in Indianapolis and, at last, have a definite date for the DBS surgery, Dec. 20.

It was an adventure to get there, because my neighbor who was planning on taking me, called me he and his wife were sick and couldn't take me.

So I called my old work place (hospital lab) and told them I was deperately seeking a ride. They checked around and come up with a driver. On the return trip my driver said his supervisor, who I knew very well, gave the okay as a favor to me.

I think one thing I have learned having PD, is their are a lot more caring people then I realized. Bruce

That's going to be one nice Christmas gift Bruce. The 20th is the day we are leaving to go to California for Christmas, I'll be thinking about you on the drive down. Good Luck!!!

Good luck Phil and Ruth.

I wanted to describe my exam with the neuro and the neurosurgeon. This is just my opnion, but I got the impression both doctors relied a lot on Dr. Hubble's info. Even Dr. Lieberman said "she is one of the best." The reason I say that is both doctors didn't really give me a through exam. The nurse actually came in before I met the surgeon and gave me a date for the surgery. It was almost to easy. Bruce
