I just read a very postive story re: a local meteoroligist who has Parkinson's. He's a young man and we have the same doctor! My mother-in-law had told me he does a good job (we don't get this channel in my community, unfortunately). I was uplifted by his story; here is the link: http://cjonline.com/stories/120400/hea_peppers.shtml

Carole, That's a very good story. I particularly like this part: he doesn't want to be known as the meteorologist-with-Parkinson's, but as a "regular person," and "the meteorologist who tries to do his best every day."
"Everybody has problems that they have to deal with, and this is just what I have to deal with," Peppers said.
