In an earlier post of mine (Blue Tinted Glasses????) I submitted a link to a site that proposed the wearing a certain blue tinted glasses would help with certain symptoms of PD and/or side effects of meds.

Upon further research by Bruce and myself, it is my opinion (I will let Bruce speak for himself) that this claim is pure BS!!!!

Bruce questioned Dr Ab Lieberman, NPF and his response was "...this sounds like complete nonsense..."

It's just another scam folks. BEWARE.

Darrell, I couldn't have said it better. Everything about the blue glasses is a hoax.

I think I'll use the acronym "BT" (for Blue Tint) from now on instead of "BS" (for Bull Pooh).

This Board has everything!! BT (Blue Tints), BS (Bull Pooh) and now we need some BSS (Blue Suede Shoes), and BH (for Blue Hawaii) and even BH (for we lovers of Blue Hairs.) Just don't color me blue, even if I can't tape the blue cellophane to my forhead, and I'm sure by now, there are those who wish I would ignore Darrell's advice AND get that tape over my nose and mouth, and even maybe around the wrists behind my back - no more typing - and ..... and...... aaaaaauuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh........ ....................

Darrell-
I think they did, too!! (the paint fumes got to me) Got a little carried away there - but my newly painted walls look great - and straight lines, too (considering I wouldn't have held a paintbrush in my tremory hands pre-DBS!) I should settle down after today - but I can't promise anything! I'm a wild and crazy gal! I haven't fallen off the ladder yet either; it's not too hard to climb up, but the coming down is another story (you want to just keep going!! Suggest keeping all paint away from rear of ladder!) The advantage of being so slow and tremor free (now), is that I've become a pretty neat painter. Slow..... but neat!

Carole, That's great that you were able to do all that painting. I bet you feel good. I need to do some painting also, I just haven't figured out how to get the ceiling. In some spots it's over 16 ft high. It's not too far up, but it's a loooong way doooown! :D

Darrell-
Just how tall is your son?????
(My ceilings are all textured - thank goodness!!) I just finished another wall and started a 4th! It's looking good. A lot less fattening than making Martha Stewart's cookie of the week....... lots of stretching and bending (I'm down and can't get up -kind of work!!)

Hey you guys,
You left out an important group of "BLUES". Ever heard of "Blues Clues"? If you have grandchildren, you certainly have! Lots of Sat. cartoons, kids clothes, comic books, etc. Lots and lots of "Blues Clues".
