Just wanted to check-in and introduce myself. My name is Tom, I am 34 years old, and I have Parkinson's.
I started this web site to document my challenges with this disease.
I'll also be visiting this message board.
Fortunately I am using voice recognition software by Dragon NaturallySpeaking which helps me communicate more effective.
I hope to hear from all of you over time.
Sincerely,
Tom berdine

Hi, Tom and welcome. I was only about 49 when diagnosed, so understand the mental shift you are going through. I'll check out your web site. This board is so wonderful for support. Lory

Hi, Tom - isn't Dragon fun to work with? I haven't used it for about a year, because I have my tremors a bit mroe under control. But, eventually, I'd like to use it more and become mroe familiar with it. How're things going? This board is great at responding to questions, or just sharing the day with , like a lovely sunrise. i live in Eugene, OR and we're enjoying our 1 week of relatively hot weather for the year. Lory
