http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif It's ME! My husband saw a note I had written to myself on the desk, and said, this looks like someone you should go see. He picked up the phone and called to make an appointment just like that.
He kept telling me to give the Neurologist time to figure out what is wrong with me, but I guess he didn't want to worry me by saying that he was not satisfied with my Neurologist's inability to diagnose or recognize what my actual condition is.
So when he saw the words "Movement Disorder Specialist," well, he believes this will be the doctor we have been looking for. And get this, they called one of their long time regular patients and asked if she would like to change her time for a later date so they could get me in right away. I'm going tomorrow!
Thank you all so much for your suggestions. I will let you all know as soon as I find out something.
Take Care all.
Sincerely,
Caring

One point I did not know at first is movement disorders specialists have advanced training. I learned that not all the doctors at Excellence Centers always have this training. Ask where your doctor did the advanced training.

Ok, so the MDS thinks he knows what it is. He says my tremors might be serotonin related. Hmmmm, so this would mimic Parkinson's?
He said he's pretty sure he knows exactly what it is, but isn't going to give a definite diagnosis until he observes me closer. He want's to vidoetape my movements and analyze them.
So, essentially, still no real answers, though we may be somewhat closer to figuring this out.
Will let you all know as I find out more.
Take Care now.
