PD is my enemy and I will use all my forceful power and energy to plummit this scum bag ******* deep into the ground and stuff the scum into the deep layers of sewage of which it belongs. I am super pissed off!!!!!!
Now, by the way it's nice to visit you Guys & Gals again.Since last was here, I have been very intensely searching via many angles to beat the crap out of this stink'in damn ******* disorder.
What I have found is that cell therapy is the answer. Through intense research and many testamonials this is it. Lamb cell injections into the abdominal area (not directly into the substancia nigra) will allow for the slow dispersion of the cells to make their way to rpair and re-grow the damaged area. Getting the cell therapy puts one on he road to recovery to rid of PD. Not doing so, means more damage to come.I have found no information that it is in any way harmful and can only be helpful. The degree of helpfulness is individual. More damage means longer recovery. Less damage means quicker recovery. If it cannot harm and can only help, why not do it?
Bruce, out last contact you mentioned that the immune system will reject the cells. In conferring with the doctors, they say that is NOT so. If you would defend your opinion with litterature or medical references regarding lamb cell rejection, I would happily run it by the doctors. And if you would please name the anti-rejection drugs also, that would be much appreciated.
Testamonials and friends have shown that cell therapy is the answer. It's not accepted in this country because of money. It's been used outside this country and Canada for decades.
Seems sure that cell therapy is the best therapy that you can do for yourself if you have PD. Bruce, looking forward to your reply. Take care and much love to all of you.

Hi Austin,
You have every right to be emotional, and angry ! I hope Bruce can set some light on the Cells from Lambs.None of this will help my husband, but it will for you and the other young people.I did post on this on the PLWP.org go there and check out Chas" Charlie" post and my answer. But it was on the Presidents stanch on embryonic cells.I have given this a lot of thought, and dont take it lightly. This is the only promise at this time besides the DBS.
Hang in there,

Googie, This therapy helps most. May I ask your husbands condition? I don't mean to be forward...just concerned, praying and most of all fighting. If there is a way to get cell therapy, you absolutley definitely should. It will be beneficial. Hearts

The Bush debate: Human stem cells for treatment will take 1 vial. Animal (ie lamb embryos) take 5 vials. Both will do the same job. Adult stem cells...too old to be as effective as young embryos. Corpse stem cells...too old. Umbillical stem cells...very promising. Important: After approx. 4 weeks, cells are species interchangable. Sheep cells will work in horses and lamb cells will work in humans. The only benefit to using human stem cells are that less shots are needed. Just take 5 shots of lamb cells to do the same job (they don't hurt) and forget the human debate that is designed to give Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly TV ratings.

I lost my last post for some reason.Anyway You asked about my husband. He has had Pd for over 27yrs.He has dementia, very disabled, now only on Sinement CR dropped all other meds 7 yrs ago too many side effects and not working.H e is 79 yrs old.I have a nurse three times a week for him. We are very lucky to have found her.
I hope that there will be more cell therapy.I just read on" Parkinsons.org "another write up on embryonic stem cells.Bruce should be on here shortly,he is having double vision from the last adjustment on his DBS.
Hang in there, keep us posted. You know far more than I or many do on cell therapy. Many read these posts but do not post.

Autin, Googy alerted me about your questions. This is going to take some time for me to research it.
I am trying to keep an open mind about lamb cell therapy, but I have to tell you this therapy conflicts with most of what I have leaarned in my immunology courses in college. Hang in there.
This set of guidelines were in yesterday's USA TODAY newspaper s tips for avoiding false claims. It refers to anti aging claims. Of course, reading it doesn'r make it factual, but I sincerely hate to see people with serious diseases be victimied,
1.Watch out for so called "secret formulas".
2 Be wary of products that perport to cure a wide variety of illnesses, particularly serious ones that don't appear to be related
3 Always consult your doctor before taking any dietary or nutrititional supplements.
I will return.

Austin, one thing to keep in mind, is to compare what motivates me to post this vs. the motives of the people who advocate cell therapy.I have pd and I wish the therapy was the answer.
I think I found the answers to all of your questions on the same website. Go tp www.webmd.com (http://www.webmd.com) Choose diseases and conditions. For search words use "Cell therapy" and "transplant rejection". You will read some basic immunology plus the immunosuppresive drugs are listed. You can then make your own decision. Don't ever give up. It is a bummer sometimes. Bruce

Thanks a million Bruce for your reply. I sense it was a pain in the neck for you. You gave me info. to attack. Thank You so much.
I recognize scams. I thoroughly tore cell therapy apart and all it's relationships, then put it all back together. I have seen people revived with my own eyes from PD to getting back on their feet with energy and less imbalance and tremors.
The proper administering of lamb cells will not harm a person and will help. In my mind one should only say "Let's do it." I have seen people go from total fatigue to energy.
If I had PD, I would literally RUN to get cell therapy.
If I were Googy, I'd run hubby to get cell therapy. If I were anyone with PD, I would run to get cell therapy. It can't harm one...will only help. The help is of various degrees. Long term PD = longer recovery. Short term = shorter recovery.
If (& I'll attack this) the immune system does kick it out after a year, get another round of shots then. Cell therapy puts one on a path of repair to restoration and at best, diminishing of all PD symptoms.
From what I've seen, If I had PD, I would RUN for this therapy. It is truely is amazing to me that PD'ers are NOT running there.
I'll check out the immune rejection situation and if it proves true, I would get a round of shots every year.
I know transportation is tough for some older folkers but Googy is an hour from me and I would like to offer my asstsiance if she wishes. I'm telling you, I've found the PD knock-out punch. I'll keep in touch and THANK YOU AGAIN, Bruce, You're a Gem. God Bless You, God Bless America and God Bless those lost in NYC & WA DC and their families. -Austin

Austin, I can't post much, because I am not feeling well.I know you have good intentions, but please don't recommend lamb cell injections for others with pd. It was banned in the US because the procedure is unsafe. One patient died due rejecting the cells. I strongly believe no one should take these injections. Lamb cells are foreign to the human body and if lamb cells cured pd, human cells should work even better.
You don't have to have a true rejection. Try to give type A or B human blood to a type O patient. The A and B antigens are foreign to type O pt. and could kill you

Hi Bruce, Hope you feel better and thanks for your information. This is going to take some time for me to research. I know that I sound like some kind of hotshot and Sorry about that. However, I've seen these lamb cells help PD patients. They've benefited greatly. The people I see in the PD monthly group - some are mild and some are not mild at all. Some have had paladatomys, etc. I don't have PD. I want to help those who do. I feel bad for them but don't tell them that. I have more energy than them to wildly search for the best therapy. I've done that. The people that got lamb cells are much much better....immune rejection situation or not, they're doing much better. I know it helps PD patients. I have nothing to gain from this whether people do it or not. I just want to see people better.
Just to quickly mention, the patient who died was in Arizona and the reason was that the cells were injected directly into the brain's substancia nigra. Not good. It was too direct. Shots in the abdomen allow for slower dispersion. The therapy has been done in most countries, mostly in Europe for the last few decades. This is not new.
You mentioned that human cells are better than lamb cells, which is true. Human cells are not here yet. Plus the ethical issues for some people. Umbilical cord cells look very promising, but, they are not here yet either. I know you think the lamb cells will harm people but that just isn't so. The latest receipent to get the therapy I know of is a woman with the extremely fast acting PD. I think the people in tougher situations will need a longer recovery time. I'm hoping to see her better soon. She's going in the right direction. Two other people with paladatomys (sp?) may go for the therapy. I hope they do.
I'm just telling you what I've found out. That's all. I have contacts throughout the internet...in touch with women whose children have PD and I don't understand why they don't run for the therapy. Are they waiting for a 30 second commercial on tv? They'll be waiting an unnecessary long time.
Some people don't have transportation and some are unwisely scared of shots. We're talking benificial treatment here.
Well, I'll quiet down now and Bruce, I appreciate all your opinions. Keep'em coming.

Austin, I still don't undrstand how injecting lamb cells into humans would cure PD,but yet the progress of research using human cells from various sources is said to take many years to complete the research.
The reference I posted stated that the US banned this lamb therapy in 1985, because it wasn't safe. Wouldn't this make you pause and think about possible complications? At the very least, I would be skeptical of the survival of the lamb cells in the body.
It is true that this type of therapy has been done in Europe for years, but one other thing I read on webmd, was the wide variety of claims that this therapy is supposed to cure. That is exactly one of the guidelines that sends out a red flag that it is to good to be true.
Since I have PD, I would love to say I agree you have the cure, but I just can't accept it.

It would be best not to close this BB. Someone may view it, investigate it properly, understand it properly and it will help them. That is, someone who just dosen't immediately throw it aside without examination as you all do. Hope all you old timers get better some how. I really wish all of you the best. Good Luck. Bye.

One of my pet peeves is to see someone take advantage of my PD friends and their have been many more scams I have investigated and exposed in the past. We PD patients have an incurable disease and that makes desparate enough to try anything, hoping for a cure. The thinking "what do we have to lose" is not the way to look at it. You can lose your life and your lifetime savings. I spent many hours researching this therapy and I only go to well known, reputable web sites. If anyone still is tempted to try this therapy, go to the webmd site and and look around. Their was so much information that convinced me this therapy won't cure PD, that I couldn't type it all.
I said this in the past about another phoney cure, if what was said was truly a cure, you would win the noble prize and their would be articles on the front page of all the major newspapers praising your therapy.

Bruce is right on target. There is simply no credible evidence that the injection of animal (lamb) cells is beneficial in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
There is no conspiracy to withhold beneficial treatments. If such things were truly helpful you'd read about it on the front page of the newspapers and legitimate physicians would be providing it to their patients.

Thanks for the support. It sometimes gets lonely out there.
One of the first clues I look for that sends up the red flag,is their any other research being done on the subject at the major centers? If not, their must be a reason.
Your support helped a lot.
