Simby,
One thing that has been of help to me is a carrier on the back of my car for the wheelchair as I cannot lift it.My son found the site on the Internet. We called sent the check and they mailed it to us..our car needed a hitch .Once that was on my son connected to it.We aren't allowed to post webs sites it is an advertisement.I do have the phone # . I also have a grab bar that attaches to the bed.You can buy that in Medical supplies.
How are you and your Mom doing,is she able to use the Internet?
Love,
Googy

ty googy - i am adding this to the list. We didn't get to that point as it was winter and mom and dad din't go out.
We are hanging in there. Mom has been out a couple of times which is great. And she is having Easter dinner with me and hubby's family.
ty again. There seems to be little info compled about this - at least in Maine. And mom knows someone who's husband has pd. and she wants to be able to help.

Hi Simby! Hope you are doing well!
One thing I have found helpful on my "bad days" is my electric toothbrush. On those days, I have a hard time holding on to the handle of my regular manual toothbrush. the powered one has a big handle and it does most of the work for me. Gives me the big shiny smile I want :D
I will post more as I think of them.
