Hey everyone. First of all I am 23 years old and for a few years now, I have noticed my fingers always lightly shake. It is not drastic, but if I hold my hands out flat it is noticebale that my fingers lightly shake. This also happens if I hold a piece of paper etc. I never thought about Parkinsons but could itt be?? I do not have any other symptoms besides this, the only thing is my fingers constantly shake a little. Not a tremor, but more like shivering almost. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot.

hello bulldogs. It could be low blood sugar, not enough sleep, anxiety, anemia, or even Vitamin B complex (or B12) deficiency.

I would get these and other relatively minor possibilities checked out by a doctor and try taking B complex before being concerned about having Parkinson's. The best to ya!

Bulldogs, their are many causes of tremor, and without other symptoms, parkinsons would be impossible to diagnose.

Here are some other symptoms of pd for you. tiny, illegible handwritting, slow movement, short steps when walking, poor dexterity, one side weaker, poor balance. A good movement disorder specialist can detect many of these symptoms by examining you. Believe me, it's worth the trip to see an MDS, rather than a neurologist, because experience is important.
