I've never found anything not to like about him...outside of acting, I think he's a valuable voice for awareness and advocate for research...he has immediate access to mass media that goes along with celebrity, and he's using it to further the cause of treating Parkinon's...

Maybe someone else has something bad to say about him...?

I think of MJF as just another victim of pd and trying to cope with it, like the rest of us.

He does seem to have severe dyskinesia, which could be treated with DBS surgery.

I saw him recently on Dave Letterman...he looked fine, was able to communicate normally in the interview...this is reassuring to a PD newbie, since he's had it for about thirteen years now...his doctors say he's in the "late mild" stage...as for his dyskensia...I noticed that in the interview a little...wonder why he hasn't had DBS yet...

Yes, I like him very much, and not only because he has PD. He is awnderful actor. I have heard the reason he hasn't had DBS surgery is that it would lessen his impact with the senators that he is pushing so hard for funding for a cure.
