Hi I am studying psych and need to write a research essay on schizophrenia.. I need to pose a question that will be broad enought to write a 5000 word essay so if any one has any suggestions for a proposal question please let me know.. I dont know anyone with schizophrenia but I do believe she was bipolar.. she commited suicide 3 years ago..therefore explaining my interest on mental deseases.. I have read through your boards and have been touched ..good luck to all of you

You could write an essay on people with mental illness being able to function in the every day world. Because that is something I personally struggle with, as do many others, and it is an interesting and practical topic that applies to a lot of people. Hope this gives you some ideas.
