I was wondering what are the effects if you mix Geodon with Alcohol. Everyone says not to mix them, but i want to know why. I have been drinking while on Geodon and haven't had any adverse effects. Do they advise it because it can make you "crazier" or will something along the lines of death.

They both make you drosy and both act on the nervous system. I talked to my dr and pharmacist and it is like taking a double dose of alcohol.

Good, i'll say on my beer tab, lol. No seriously, i talked to my pharmacist and they said it can damage your liver, but he said it was okay to drink one or two drinks once in a while. I don't know why it would damage your liver. Wouldn't drinking alcohol damage your liver even if you didn't take Geodon, what makes Geodon and alcohol such a bad combo. Maybe it is because the liver has to work overtime.
