I saw that you posted that your son is taking Strattera and Concerta. I have an 8 year old currently taking Concerta 54 mg. It works well but the not sleeping side effect is a big issue for us. I get up at 6 am to give it to him and he still has great difficulty getting to sleep at night. He's usually up past 10:00 pm. we are going to give him a trial of the Strattera but I am wondering whether I can give him the Concerta too if it just isn't working. I am concerned with his days at school until the Strattera gets into his system. Please advise what you're doing.
Thanks so much!

Hey Dawn - I got your other post before this one! I'm here if you wanna discuss things. I've seen minor headaches, minor stomach aches and he has had one major crying breakdown since taking the strattera. He's real good about taking his medicine. His crying fit was actually a relief as usually he gets real angry and vents his frustration by being really hateful to people. This has subsided a bit. He still hates his little brother but I'm chalking it up to...They are brothers!
