As far as I know, it is a bacterial infection. I had my tonsil cut and drained and have taken many forms of antibiotics. 10 days after or a bit more I had oral sex and a day later my symptoms have returned. Even though there is scar tissue on my tonsil! Can anyone tell me whether it is caused by oral sex? Whether or not my bf has some sort of bacteria problem...we are monogamous

Okay Heres the thing you need to go have your boyfriend check for any bacterial infection. The other thing is that you may be allergic to his cum. Ask him how many showers he takes a week. It could end up that he doesn't shower enough and that is how he got infected. Also he may have something more serious like herpes. Herpes can be passed to all places on the body and can dcause all sortes of health issues like the one you were talking about. Send him to the doctor, that will answer all your questions.
