My problem is that I have a rare burning sensation on the left side of my back. I have had this for 3 or 4 years now, I do not have any other symptoms, just the burning. I do not know what doctor to go to, or how to even explain this. If anyone has any information or any input whatsoever about this condition I would truly appreciate it.

I am not a doctor but it sounds like you have some nerve inflamation. I would see a nurologist. Have you
