im just wondering if this happens to other people on adderall.. when i started out my dose was 10mg 2x a day and it would take affect within 45 min to an hour.. now i am on 30mg 2x a day and it can take upto 3 hours before i can feel it working.. i dont take it every day maybe 3-4 times a week sometimes not even 2x a day so i know its not a tolerance thing and i also dont drink anything with citrric acid vitamin c the days that i do use it.. so any explanations to why my body absorbs the different doses differently? thanks for any responces

Are you taking reg. Adderall or Adderall XR? If you are taking Adderall XR, this might be why it takes so long to take effect. I take 20 mg. of XR in the morning along with 10 mg. of reg. Adderall. The reg. Adderall gets me going ( I'm not a morning person ) and usually takes effect in 15 min. Then around 4 pm I take a 5 mg. of reg. Addreall to keep me focused and awake until I go to bed ( 11:00 pm.)

I was just wondering if someone could give me some information or references on citric acid/vitamin c and it's interactions with Adderall?

vitamin c is an antioxidant and in large amounts slows the oxidation of adderall, reducing its absorbance and therefore its efficacy.

that's my understanding. others, correct me if i'm wrong.
