Hi, I am not sure if this is the right health board
to post my question...anyway, I have had this
pain in my leg for a few years now. It was initially just once in a while and in
the area near my calf muscle of my right leg. Now my
entire leg hurts--the thigh down to the sole of my right foot. And the pain has become
continual and it has become worse--it is a
twisting kind of a pain and massaging the leg gives
temporary relief. This actually produces the "cracking" sound when I fold my leg at the knee joint! Also, heat/hot water helps temporarily.
Initially I thought it was related to my menstrual cycle, but now it persists
all the time. It goes away for a few days but persists again. I plan o seeing a doctor soon, but I wonder if this is something other people might relate to or know what it could be?? Thanks for any reply.

Hi Sathya, If I understand your symptoms correctly, it sounds exactly like what I going through right now. I hope I'm wrong about this, but it sounds like you may have a blood clot. I strongly urge you to see your doctor asap. Ask for a "venous doppler" test. It is quick and painless. It's very similar to an ultrasound. Blood clots aren't something you want to mess around with.
Good Luck!
