Haven't experienced weight loss, but I think there is a possibilty of such. I read where a person who is deprived of sleep cannot process calories into energy as easily as those who get enough sleep. I gained about 60 pounds while suffering through RLS without meds. Have lost 10 since the diagnosis and taking Mirapex. I have been eating better and working out though.... but at least I feel good enough to do it. Before I started on Mirapex, I was afraid to go to bed at night..... couldn't stand the thought of the itchy, twitchys... Needless to say I got little or no sleep and was always worn out. Now I have the energy to go and do things. Hoping I can get rid of the excess weight and feel even better!
