How important is the caffeine issue? I don't have given up all my vices, drinking, smoking (Well I did not realyy somoke a lot) but I did like my beers. And now I have this problem where I need to give up my cherrished caffeine. Will it really help, Input would really be helpful here

It's your call.

Caffeine causes your body to excrete calcium. A lot of people find that taking calcium helps calm their RLS, so excreting it might make your symptoms a little worse. Of course, you could just eat a tums antacid with your coffee to make sure you had a little extra calcium. The Ca is good for your bones anyway.

A small amount of caffeine actually makes me a little sleepy, so I don't avoid it. Most people have the opposite experience, though. For some, if they stop drinking the coffee by 3pm, it's fine. Others have to stop drinking it altogether. But it depends on you. If the effect is minimal, don't bother. Everyone needs some vices.
