Pregnancy and the pill [Archive] - HealthBoards Message Boards

I've been on the pill for more then 6 months now, and about 2 weeks ago i missed a pill. A couple of days later (when i did take the pill) me and my bf had sex without a condom. I realise it was a stupid thing to do, and now i'm afraid i might be pregnant. I woke up today feeling sick and a little dizzy, and i still am (4 hours later). My period is supposed to come tomorrow, and i'm really scared that it won't..So i guess what i'm asking is whether the sickness means i might be pregnant? And are there any other symptoms during the first 2 weeks that can mean i'm pregnant?
Please help me..

You cant depend on the various signs to tell you ifyou are pregnant or not. Your best bet is tog et a pregnancy test and take it. I would suggest getting one today and taking it first thing in the morning.

yes, sex without a condoms is stupid, even if youre on the pill. but hey, it happens. i was in the same position youre in since sept. 30th, it was a long month, but finally i got my period, thank god. You should go to a planned parenthood, or a free teen clinic..they give pregnancy tests free.. good luck..

I took a pregnancy test and it turned out negative, and i did get my period the next day, so everything is ok..I'm so glad, coz i was really worried..No sex without condoms next time that's for sure..

I'm glad for you Kiwie and I'm glad that you learned from your eperience. Thanks for sharing your story so that others do realize that it is never too late to use a condom and have safe sex.
