I'm 17 and I have been impotent for 2 years now. Obviously this is unbelievably frustrating. I seem to have lost all sexual desire at this point, and I dont think it's all mental because it's the same when I try to masturbate. And if I do get it erect (enough) the slightest distraction or letting go of it will put it back down. What's wrong with me? Low Testosterone? I'm desperate.. any reply would be nice.

Well...
Get yourself checked out by a urologist.

First of all you are not impotent if you can get an erection even if it is only once in a while. Impotence is the inability to even get any erection at all. Difficulty getting or maintaining an erection which is what you described is called erectile dysfunction. You are young yet so there are many things that may be causing this one of which you mentioned is distractions. This seems to indicate that you don't get a lot of time when you are totally alone where no one will be coming home etc. If your erectile dysfunctional is causing real problems then you should see your doc and get checked just to be sure everything is ok.

If everything was ok before and now something has changed then obviously you need to go see a doctor because that definitely isn't normal.

Such problems can be caused by many things including diabetes, hypothyroid, low testosterone, anxiety, depression, as well as several very serious disorders. Normally, but not always, such conditions are characterized by fatigue, irritibility, low exercise capacity, isolation from friends and family, and alot of fear.

i m 22. i experienced this problem when i was 18. i realized later that it was totally psychological which resulted because of hypertension during my high school examinations.
i ran for doctors so that i could recover and return to normal, but i was unable to explain my problem fully because of shy and mental disorder in which i was because of this problem. doctors didn't take me seriously and it took 3 years to me to grow near normal.
the problem weakened me in terms of confidence and it took a lot of time to recover. it affected my grades and everything.
i will consult you to better consult a good urologist and tell your all problems to him.
regards
