Hey...I try to keep shaved down there, but my problem is, if I try to shave every day, its SO painful. I cant even touch it with the razor. Its not because of red bumps or anything, because I dont get any...it just hurts because the hair is so short I guess. I want to keep it shaved all the time really bad, but I find myself having to wait a week or two before shaving again. Any tips on how to do this less painfully?? How do you do it? Also my friend told me she 'Naired' hers, and that it worked great. Anyone try that? Please gimme some input. Thank you! :)

Yikes! Nair sounds really painful. ouch, it makes my legs burn, I can't imagine how it would feel down there.

What works for me is to shave in the direction that the hair is growing, not against the hair.

Use something afterwards, like Bikini Zone, to ease the pain.

I've seen this stuff called Veet advertised on t.v. It seems like it works really good. Everyones reaction to nair is different. You won't know until you try it. My mom loves the stuff but I can't handle it my skin is to sensitive. Good luck. Much love Sunnie

hmmmm, I dunno I think everyday Is a hell of a lot!! No wonder it hurts, I dont belive you actually have to do it that much!! well anyway I think you should stick to once every two or three weeks, And who are you doing it for anyway? Yourself or a guy? If your in a relationship and are having regular sex, then im sure he doesnt mind, you not shaving all the time in fact a hell of alot of guys really like it when girls dont shave at all. But if you are doing it for yourself and because you like the feeling and the smoothness then yeah shave with the growth of the hair not against it, and its not reccomended you put such products as depliatory creams etc. Near such a sensitive place as your vagina.

You could try having a full wax down there done profeesionally maybe or at home. That will stop the automatic re-growth. Otherwise yeah shave in the direction the hair crows and use plenty of good cream afterwards.

I agree...everyday is a lil too much. I shave mine about every 2 or 3 days. Like the first 10 times you do it I would have in the direction of the hair growth because it will irritate the hair pore when you shave up. After that, it becomes less painful to shave up but do little amounts at a time. When you first start shaving up it will prolly give you pimples. But after a while...all we be well!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/jester.gif

hey there..... what i do that REALLY works good for me at least, is to run a warm bath, and have like either like bubble bath, or even have some body mixed in with the water, and just soak in there for like 20 min, and then shave it under the bath water.... thats what i do and it doesnt hurt at all, and it feels REALLY smooth when your all done... ;) then just take a small shower afterwords..... i hope this works!... ;)
