I just heard that there can be horrible side effects from taking the pill- somebody said that their gf's or wife's hair all fell out and then somebody they knew that was also on the pill- their liver was getting like eaten away from it :eek:

It all depends. It can vary from person to person. I suggest you call a doctor or a local pharmacist.

Those side effects are EXTREMELY rare. You can look at yoru package insert and read about the common side effects that might occur. Also side effects tend to go away after about three months of being on the pill. The reason being is it takes your body about that long to adjust to the pill.
Make sure if you do go on the pill that your partner still uses condoms because there is still a risk of pregnancy and to protect yourself against stds.
