As someone who's always trimmed his pubic hair, I'm quite interested to know about you guys out there who shave *to the bone* on a regualr basis. I wouldn't mind shaving it all off just to see how it looks and feels, but I'm terrified of going anywhere near my balls with a blade! Even trimming with scissors is scary enough, so I was just wondering if anyone out there shaves regularly, and if so, what they consider to be the best way of so doing?

I would highly recommend not shaving.
Why?
Once you go bald you will never go back. Shaving is an amazing form of foreplay, for both men and women. Once you feel how much more sensitive the penis and balls are when bald as compared to hairy, and once you and your partner exchange oral sex without hair you will be in trouble because going back is no longer an option.
I have had laser hair removal done on the scrotum, base of the penis and the full butt. It has cost me a lot of money and time and since it was not completely removed by laser I am now faced with going for electrolysis.
Don't shave, you are going to like it too much.

Thanks for the swift reply... Although I have to say, you've only piqued my curiosity! I'm now determined to try it, I'm afraid to say!
Before you had the laser treatment, did you shave using a normal wet razor? If so, did you ever nick yourself? Were you hard or flaccid when doing it? Sorry to be a pain in the arse, but I don't want to end up slicing through on of the big purple pulsing bad-boys at the base of my penis!

One has to assume that if you are old enough to have pubic hair then you are old enough to need to shave your face. Are you nervous about shaving your face? I thought not. I prefered to dry shave, it does a better job on the ole boys because a real trick is to keep the skin taunt.
Get a friend to do it, it will be much more fun and you won't have to worry about being flaccid either.

Shaving is something that I have been doing for awhile now. I have to say he is right ,you will not want to go back. It is nice and erotic and you should include your partner if he or she is in on it. I find it best to lather up lightly and to hold the penis at the head and lightly tug while shaving the shaft if you have hair there. Then for the scrotum I grab the boys and gently squeeze them till one at a time is tight and stretched. Just take your time with it . Trust me you will also have to clean up a little . It is a great turn on and I always end up getting off. My girl friend likes it smooth. I will never go back to hair on the boys again...... Good luck

i did it once and it was nice for about the first day, the next day the itch was unbearaable and lasted about a week till it grew back in a little, but unless your going to do it everyday and keep it like that i wouldnt suggest doing it

In November, 2001 I underwent hernia surgery and ended up totally shaved down there. I can't say I particularly enjoyed the sensation, and it looked prepubescent. Having endured an occasional snarl during IC I earlier experimented with shaving. I found that shaving the shaft with a mach-3 right up to the pubic bone cleared the big boy for action, and was minimally labor-intensive!
(And yeah, do it while erect ... you'll love the feel of your big, smooth banana ...)

my man shaves completely even his balls and from a girls point of view I like it..it looks a lot cleaner without all the hair. and it makes it better when I go down on him...at first when he did it I didn't really have an opinion either way...but now I love it..he likes it better during sex and foreplay too because he feels it more...just some advice from a girl...your woman might like it too...

Hi - girl here.
DO IT! It's so much better for all involved. No irritating little hairs up the nose when giving head. And I shave too so I am here to tell you that everyone's right who says once you start you'll never stop. You gotta do it every day or you'll be miserable from the itch.
Try debilitory cream like Nair, it's much less irritating than razors and works like a charm! Worse case, it doesn't get ALL the hair and you just have to do a little razor touch up after you wash off the Nair. Oh yea, partners always make it more fun:-)

I use a Mach 3 razor & woman's hair rinse. it makes the hairs real soft. Always shave in the direction the hairs are growning.

I use electric clippers on the pubic hair with a guard so I get it close and even but not bald, then I use a mach3 and the same gel I use to shave my face on the "boys" ....and under them too!! It feels great :D . I find it easier if I do my shaving in the shower. It makes rinsing them off a lot easier than over the bathroom sink. When I took a friend of mine to the gym with me as a guest once he noticed I shaved and trimmed when we were changing in the locker room and he asked me about it, I told him what it did for me and he tried it, said his wife did things for him he usually had to beg for before ;) LOL

I was thinkin of doin this a few weeks ago an this topic jus got me so intrigued i decided to do it tonight. Took a while since i had to trim with the scissor 1st since ive never done it b4 but it don't itch as much as most ppl have sed it does.
Only prob is i did a wet shave with a razor an shave gel so i couldn't really do the underside of my 'boys' so the hair is bristly there an keep prickin my inside of my legs, LOL.
Any tips on stuff i should do now? I already tried talc which worked OK, then i decided to try moisturiser an that seems to have calmed everythin down. Any other suggestions?
P.S - Yeah it looks bigger... an kinda funny too. Reminds me of when i was 11, 'cept bigger now obviously. ;)

I have shaved for over 15 years. It is hard to get used to for awhile, but if you enjoy the look, and keep shaving, it will get easier. When starting out, you should probably shave every couple of days. I can go quite a while now, I guess just because I have been doing it so long.
