Last October, I had an encounter with a prostitute (dumb, I know). We have been rubbing our naked bodies for a few minutes, there was some direct genital-to-genital contacts, but no penetration at all (and no oral sex).
About 3 weeks later, I got some abrasions on the lower side on my penis. Doctor said it was not a STD and gave me some antibiotics. Then, about one week later, the abrasions have been cleared but my skin went red and itchy at this place and on my scrotum. This lasted for about two weeks.
I did a STD checkup at this moment: nothing found. No fungus. The doctor said it could be an allergy, but I cannot find the cause. I did also a HIV test three months later, which came back negative.
Now, about 3 months 1/2 later, I have again this red and itchy skin which has re-appeared since two days.
Does someone have any idea about what can cause this? Could it be Herpes, although I had no blisters?
Thanks.

It does'nt sound like an STD. sounds like regular jock itch. If you wear briefs, start wearing boxers. After drying from shower use a powder for jock itch. If it persists, go back to the doc.
Peace
P. S. There is nothing "dumb" about seeing a prostitute, IMHO they have to make a living just like anyone else. What was DUMB was not having a condom on. Reguardless of penertration.

But a jock itch is a fungu (?), so it should have been detected the first time I had this rash. But the doctor took a sample of my skin and said there was no fungu...

N0t necessarily true. There are many kinds of rashes and fungi. They can't test for them all and would not. Just change your underware type, shower daily, dry well, dust with medicated powder and if it does'nt go away- go to a skin doc.

I think it may be coincidence that these symptoms are showing up...and probably caused by something completely different. I lived away from home for many years and upon returning had a 'jock itch like' rash about a week after I got home. My mother used fabric softener in the wash. I only use vinegar which works far better anyway. Guess what? I was allergic to something in the softener and hey, it gets warm down there! I put on underwear untouched by 'mothers chemical ways' and solved the problem. Check for allergens...you may be surprised!

Thank you to both of you for your replies :).
I have spent a full day in tight swimming clothes in this wet and warm climate (I live in Singapore) just before. Maybe this is the cause for this joke itch?
Also, I was using the same soap this time and the last time the symptoms had appeared. Can be another reason...
I have washed it with an antiseptic and it is going better. My doctor has also given me a cream.
Anyway, it is a little bit scary to have theses symptoms just after this incident. I hope you are right and that it is a coincidence.
Thanks much,
Francis.

Hey man get rid of the Speedo and get some surfer trunks, that let let the equipment swing free.
I especially can't stand those kind of trunks that have that mesh inner liner in it. Those things eat the boys alive!

I have had one sexual partner for many years with no std problems when very foolishly I had sex for the the first and last time with a china girl prostitute abroad, I use a condom but she sucked my balls, a few days later my balls tingled and became red and I have had this condition to varying degreas since, it dosent fit with the bog standard std knoledge but to me it is probebly fungle and or viral and defently sexualy contracted, I shall let you know if and how I fix it, I shall go back abroad soon and ask a local doctor as they must be familiar with the condition as (I can testify) it is easy to catch, your letter amongst some other exact examples on posted on the net has given me graight comfort as I know I,m not alone.
