Well, here's my story. I was having unprotected sex with my ex-girlfriend when we were together about 3 months ago. After the last time we had sex...2 or 3 days later i noticed a "pimple like" thing on the shaft of my penis. It went away like 3 days later and didn't think anything of it really. Then we hooked up again and had sex about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Now I notice that same "pimple like" thing in the same area...but this time there's more than one. It itches only a little bit and I try not to scratch. I'm also a smoker and have decided to quit after reading an article on penial cancer. I don't think I can go to a doctor because I don't want my parents to know that i'm sexually active. I am praying to god it's not penial cancer...I mean only a tenth percent of males get it in America, but all the signs are there. The 2nd occurrance has been like this for 3 days now, and i'm hoping it'll go away like last time. Any suggestions or comments?

Go to a Doctor. If you have had unprotected sex you could have something. Better to be safe than sorry. It may not be anything, but then who did she have unprotected sex with before you and what did they have. If it is an STD, your parents will find out anyway.
GOOD LUCK!

This could be "many" things! If it went away for a while then it is NOT warts. If it "IS" an std, it sounds more like herpes. There are many other things that can cause this, and not ALL causes are from std's.
you need to be tested for all std's and all other infections by your doctor.
good luck!

It does not sound like Genital Warts, but it is most likely due to Genital Herpes. It is definately not likely to be Penile Cancer but should be checked out by a Doctor. If it is Genital Herpes, it may need a short course of AntiViral medication. But generally there is not cure only symptomatic treatment of Genital Herpes. Usually the first outbreak is the worst. Are they like sores? Are they weeping? Sore? Do you have a milky discharge from the end of your penis (urethra)? They are useful in determining what it could be. It may be nothing, and may be a small cut or tear.. The other thing to be tested for might be something like Syphillis. But is likely to be too early to tell yet for that.
