i would like to know since there are 60 or so strains of the virus, is there a blood test to determine genital warts, i know there are other test, but a blood test anyone?

There is a blood test..but it tests for antibodies for HPV...which could be any strain of HPV, this just says that u were exposed to the virus in time or another, which could have been just a wart on your finger..the body produces antibodies for any forein bacilli or virus that enter the body, to try to fight it off...but to determine what strain of the virud it is...u will have to get a DNA culture done,which would be swabbing the affected area, or a biopsy of a suspected wart.....so to answer your question...no there is not a blood test that can scientifically prove that a certain strain of this virus is in your body....
