my boyfriend had chlamydia about 4-5 years ago. he took the pills to get rid of it and said that it went away. recently we had unprotected sex and he ejaculated inside me but i was wondering if i have any risk of getting it even if his is completely cured. he has had girlfriends in the past that came out clean when they were tested. i on the other hand, have never been tested for stds. please help!

if he was completely cured, you have a zero chance of contracting chlamydia...... was he re-tested after he was done his meds?? and knows for sure that he was cured?? i only ask, because i had it, took the meds for 7 days.... went back to be re-tested... and it was still showing positive..... sooo, i went back on the meds for 2 weeks this time, and re-tested again, and it was completely gone.... negative culture.... so, if he knows for sure that it went away with the meds, then you have no chance ......

on another note, to be sure you don't get any std, or pregnant.... please use protection !!!! this std incident for me seemed like it was never ending ... AND... i got pregnant at the same time.... i used a condom and it came off!...... it's just not worth worrying about things like this, if you can help it.... and you can help it by using a condom !

livenlearn is right you should always use protection and since you are sexually active you should get tested for stds and aids and everything once a year. Even when yu are with only one person, because you never know
