Recently, i've been sick with what seems to be a sinus infection, but for some reasons i have my doubts. A few days ago, i was bitten by a mosquito on my nose towards the right side of my face, a day or 2 later, i experienced symptoms such as vomiting, trouble breathing through the nose, and just yesterday my eye on the right side of my face became swollen, and my ear infected. I tried everything from sprays to pills to be able to breathe threw the nose, nothing works. As of right now when i speak i hear an echoey sound of my voice in my right ear. It wasnt until yesterday i thought about the mosquito. Could it be west nile?
The symptoms have lasted for almost 5 days now.

I sincerely hope you've been to the doctor by now, sweetheart! If not, GO TODAY~
What you've described is obviously not a sinus infection.
Good Luck and let us know how you are doing!

Just to help put your mind at ease (not saying you shouldn't see a doc just to make sure) but less than 1% of mosquitos actually carry the West Nile Virus. I've had plenty of bug bites, and although it can be scary because no matter what the statistics, you can still get it, the only time it kills is when the person who has been infected has a weak immune system...so it mainly only effects the old and people with a weak immune system, including old people and some others.
Hopefully this stopped your worries a little.
I know I hate to worry :)

Take care.
