I was diagnosed with syphilis 3 years ago when I found out I was pregnant. I was treated but now my titers are 1.320 what does that mean My doctor was saying something about Lupus. Please any information would be appreciated.

I tested positive for Syphilis back in 1994. Lived for 3 years thinking I had it only to find out in 1998 it was a false positive reading and I have lupus - SLE. A lot of lupus patients get a false positive reading...that's one of the things used for a diagnosis of lupus!
