Hey Fellow Women-
I have been experiencing vaginal itchiness for quite some time now. It is hard to resist the urge to scratch in public...
I have had complete gyno exams, even following one up two times, regarding this concern! I thought I might have HPV, but the 2nd doctor who tested me assured me that the tests were negative (Pap Smear/ vinegar test followed by experimental treatment with Aldara, to no effect). I do shave my area, sometimes more and sometimes less (labia or not; I've experimented). I have switched to washing with Aveeno body wash, but the only temporary relief I get is from vaginal Benzocaine cream. I am prone to mild yeast infections right before my period.

Letting the hair grow back sometimes makes a person itch alot (been there done that) but if you can just get past the first week...maybe the itchy feeling will go away.
