I've been diagnosed with HPV. I know that this sometimes causes cervical cancer. But does being diagnosed mean that you will definitely develop cervical cancer? If anyone knows good informational sites, please let me know. Thanks.

I'd post some good sites but the moderators keep deleting them. Will you "definitely" develop cervical cancer?? Nothing is ever "definite" and the chances are probably low. Make sure you get regular PAP smears from now on and you should probably be OK. BTW.. If you have the kind (HPV) that causes warts, your chances are much lower.

okay, thanks for trying. My symptoms were a few bumps on the outside area of my vagina. Were they considered warts? My doctor said I had to get regular paps...no excuses.
