I found a red bump with a real real small black dot in the middle of it on the side of my penis. Ive been reading on what it might be and I think it could be a scabie?? What doyou think?? Thanks

No you dont just get 1 scabie. I have had them before and believe me you will know something is wrong but you will have tons of them all over your body

I agree, that does not sound like scabies. Could it possibly be an ingrown hair or a folliculitis type thing (infection of hair follicle)? The little black dot that you see could be a hair.

No you dont just get 1 scabie. I have had them before and believe me you will know something is wrong, you will have tons of them all over your body and itch itch and itch it is terrible... probably nothing to worry about.. go see the doctor.. in the mean time use condoms for intercourse, just incase it is thrush or warts or something.. good luck let us know...

scabies is something you catch from a dirty person.. it is very very easy to catch if u share something with someone, sit on a sofa that is contagous sleep with someone who has it or even stand next to someone who has it.. it is horrible.. you scratch all your body, the scabies get under your finger nails then spread, spreads to you entire body and in your bed sofa towels clothes.. i had it for a mnth, i used camilile lotion, and i had a cream of the doc, i had to cover myself with cream and my 3 yr old daughter it is horrible looks like you got chicken pox, i had to chuck my bed matress out and when i treated my self i wore gloves and washed all my clothes in a certain washing powder to kill them.. it was awfull..
