hi. I am almost 16, and ever since i was abotu 14, iv had these small bumps on the tip of my penis. After about a year I went to the doctor, and he said it was nothing. the bumps arent really too visible unless I have an erection, and i told the doc that, but he still said its nothing cause i havnt had any sexual contact (besides just touching with hands and stuff) and at the tiem i hadnt even done that. since then, its been about a year, and they are still there. They are a TINY bit more noticable. I think its jsut that my penis has grown, but i am not really sure.i also have found 3 or 4 bumps on my sack that arent where hair come out. do normal guys have small bumps on the tip of the penis ?or is it perfectly smoothe? i heard it happens when you grow up, but on a porno i saw the guy had none.. im really cofused. advice would be really great. thanks

If the doc said it was nothing and you've had them for a long time then it's nothing.

Read your comments and they sound just like mine. I have several small flesh colored/red bumps (about 1mm in size) on my penis. 2 or 3 on the tip and several in other places. They just started showing up over the last 2-3 weeks. They are not noticible unless I have an erection. I am 25 and my skin has always been smooth until now. I had sex with a girl who has HPV about 6 -8 months ago. Based on my resurch on the web, HPV doesn't always lead to genital warts (only some strands of the virus). She told me that she didn't have the type that leads to warts... I'm still resurching and plan to visit the doctor, but was hoping you had learned something new since your posting. All responses welcome!

This sounds like something I have noticed on myself as well... I just made a post about it, so hopefully someone can shed some light on this subject for all of us! :-)

The bumps on your balls sound totally normal -- I don't think I've ever seen balls that DON'T have bumps.
As for the bumps on the penis, given your sexual experience, I really, really doubt you have HPV or any other STD. The bumps could be regular warts or another type of benign skin imperfection.

warts is HPV....there is a 100 diffrent strands of HPV. If it is warts on the penis it is genital warts that can spread.

it sounds like pearly penile papules, which are normal and pretty common. if you got them before anyone else had ever touched you sexually or anything, then that's probably what they are. but see a doc if you need peace of mind about it. they see stuff like this all the time, so you dont have to be embarassed or anything.
