hi all.

Im a 24 year old male.....and I have had for about 2 years this slightly raised skin that circles the opening of my Penis. it does not hurt, itch or anything. I only noticed it because i was looking for something...and just giving my self an exam. :) It has not gotten bigger or smaller in the last two years. I went to the doc about 9 months ago and he basically said that it could be a fungus but if it doesnt bother you leave it alone. now i went in today for a physical and i told him again it was still there and he reffered me to a urologist. he said it could be some sort of virus. please anyone give me some info or website that has something like this on it. i just dont want this to be serious.

Thanks,
Dan

I would have thought a referral to a dermatologist would be more logical than a urologist.

My best guess is a fungal infection. Something like Lotramin might help, but if that doesn't work, prescription Oxistat really kicks butt.
