Every other month to every 3 months, I get a bump in my pubic hair region above my penis. It by all appearances seems to be a pimple. It pops just like one and goes away just like one, but I've never heard of anyone else who ever had a pimple there. Maybe it's just one of those things that's never discussed. It's always just a single one. It's always in the same area.
This "pimple" has been on/off appearing for the last year, months after my first sexual encounter.
Should there be any reason to believe that this is something other than a zit?

Hey bud, totally common to have pimples anywhere, on your scrotum, penis shaft and in the pubic/groin region. The fact that it is happening in the same place is interesting though...is there a pubic hair there that could be getting impacted or infected in some way? Sounds like it isn't anything to be worried about..although its best not to pop or open them as they can get infected. However, they hurt like heck until that's done. So, just keep it clean and use a bit of neorsporin or some other antibiotic ointment to help with healing.
