I don't know what i have, but i definitely have something. a few days after having sex w/ this guy, i noticed lots of little flesh colored bumps along the inside of my libia (i think that's what it's called-when i touch it, it reminds me of a cats tounge)and then some on the opening or cervix... i don't know any of the technical names sorry, but anyway it's been about 16 days since i noticed them. they itch sometimes, overall it is kind of just uncomfortable feeling. i thought at first it might be herpes, so i looked at pics online, but they don't seem to be fluid filled, or at least as far as i can tell. so then i thought maybe syphilis, because i read it can be mistaken for herpes. i have had some flu like symptoms, espeically today. i had a headache and felt sick to my stomach. i feel like i have to go pee a lot too. then i started reading some of the messages and started wondering if it's warts! i don't know what to think, luckily i have a gyno appt. in several days. but what do you all think it is??? what is the typical duration for a first time herpes break-out? i just want to know what it is and make it go away. any response is greatly appreciated.

Well, I can tell you definately, if it was herpes, you would know. It hurts alot, and it's pretty recognizable.
It could be alot of things, or it could be nothing at all. But you've done the hard part of making the appt., now all you have to do is go through with it.
Let us know what happens. I feel pretty optimistic for you, it doesn't sounds as though you are in a lot of pain. True, you are uncomfortable, but alot of things could cause that.
good luck!

I have to disagree with the last post. Though herpes is usually painful, it's not always. Symptoms and appearance can vary in different people. The best thing to do is be seen by a physician while the bumps are present. It could just be some type of irritation. Take care and keep us posted!!

well i'm happy to report that my gyno appt went well. she said that it didn't look like herpes or warts, and that the bumps were probably caused by irritation from a yeast infection... i also might have a bladder infection. so i'm taking pills for that stuff. i hope her diagnosis is right. i still find it hard to believe that i don't have anything... it is just so odd. i kept asking her- but you see what i'm talking about right... are you SURE it's nothing! anyway, lets hope she's right!!
