About 20 days ago I had sex: mutual masturbation, and recieving oral with a condom. Afterwards, I washed with antibacterial soap, but may not have rinsed it off properly. About 5 days ago I noticed a slight irritation on my glans. There was no redness or sores, so I put Vaseline Intensive Care on it. It got a little more irritated, so I gave myself a closer exam, and noticed very tiny spots on the glans. I do not know if they were there before. They are barely visible when I am soft, only when hard, and are flesh colored, darkening a little when I get erect. They are only on the glans itself, there are no symptoms on the rest of the penis.
There are no open sores, no blisters, no discharge, no burning on urination, there is still a slight irritation/burning sensation. I believe I had an irritation from the soap, and then an allergic reaction to something in the moisturizer. Especially since the second time around I used another kind that was in the bathroom, not realizing that it had menthol in it, which may have 'burned' the glans. I switched 1% hydrocortisone cream after that, and it seemed to help a little, but not much. I don't like using cortisone, but I found a dermatology website that said to use the Eucerin for dry/sore glans. About 3 minutes after applying Eucerin, I felt a burning sensation, and immediately washed it off, which relieved it, but may have caused a few more bumps to appear [or they could have been there already and I am imagining things].
It doesn't look like warts, and it doesn't have the blisters or scabbing that herpes usually has. Has anyone else out there had anything with symptoms like this? From what I've searched, the closest thing that it looks like is balanitis/thrush, so I bought clotrimazole cream today and am using that, however, it isn't even really as red/irritated looking as pictures of thrush that I found. I think I'm probably worrying needlessly, and maybe imagining some of the symptoms I have. I don't have health insurance right now and can't afford to go see a doctor. There are no free clinics anywhere near my area [Martin County, South FL], I even called the national STD hotline and they said I probably don't have anything to worry about, but they couldn't find any free clinics either. Please help .

I think I also have the same symptoms you have. I had received oral sex and then had the condom break. Not long after that I felt an irritation on the head of my penis and about 2 day after I noticed small skin color bumps also.
I have been to the doctors and to a couple of std clinics but have had all tests come back negative. One doctor told me that it was all in my head and that I should just stop worrying about it.
I also had trouble finding anything about this on the internet. The closest that I came to matching some symtoms was prostatitis.
Please reply if you have anymore information. thanks.

I went to the doctor too. He said it was balanitis. Since I don't have bad hygene, he said it could be an allergic reaction to soap, the condom, or it was all in my head. He did prescribe an antifungal to be sure, so if I were you I'd start with clotrimazole [you can get it generically at Wal-Mart near the athletes foot medications, and it's a 'non-embarassing' package], and stop worrying so much. I understand how you feel - I'm a hypochondriac too.

How numerous are the bumps? I have something somewhat similar-- hundreds of tiny bumps on the glans, and the doctors have no idea why they are there. I had it biopsied and the result was "benign angioma" which means just clusters of capillaries on the surface of the skin. It started out as little pin-point red dots and has grown into a totally covering field of tiny flesh-colored bumps.
