About two weeks ago I had PROTECTED sex with a new guy, and latley I've been experiencing soreness around my vulva. It feels like I JUST had rough sex, it's like a rawness and burning on the skin in the area, no weird discharge, no bumps and it only really bothers me when it's touched because it's become really sensitive. Does this sound like a yeast infection even though there is no abnormal discharge? I'm worried it could be something more serious because of the sex and because it's sore around the skin and not inside the actual vagina. I've never had a yeast infection that irritated me before. Anyway I'm just a little worried and would appreciated your opinions! Thanks

I would recommend you be seen by a doctor just incase it's genital warts or herpes. Though it doesn't sound like typical herpes, not everyone experiences the text book description. You could also just have a yeast infection not causing those obvious symptoms. Good luck and it's best to have it checked out while experiencing symptoms!
