Okay, I'm entering my 3rd week of using Aldara, 3 times a week. I know all about the typical side effects that come from using it. Basically, just slight swelling for me, and I noticed that the few warts I have are slightly pinker since I started using it.
I'm just kinda looking for feedback from other Aldara users who may have experienced other side effects than the usual. For me, just on the crease where my thighs meet my vagina on both sides I've got some bumps that could almost pass for razor bumps or ingrown hairs, something I'm more than used to. These are a li'l different tho. They're not blisters or anything, but they're kinda sore (partly due I'm sure to my poking at them). I sleep nekkid, so is it possible that when I sleep on my side the area covered by the cream is rubbing against this place and that's what's causing this? I rub the cream in until it vanishes but obviously it's still present on the skin. I'm just wondering if others did or are experiencing remote site side effects.
I know everyone reacts differently to medication but anything you folks can share I'd appreciate!!

You're right, everyone does react differently. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones, my side effects were so bad it was worse then the warts. I had extreme irritation to the point of a "bleeding rash" as my Dr. called it. Maybe wearing cotton underwear to bed would help?

hi
what the heck is a bleeding rash? I started using aldara two weeks ago and head of the penis got very red.. I started noticing some blisters and they got worse suddenly.. it's watery, bleeds a bit in spots.. all of this in the areas where I applied aldara. I may have made a mistake in leaving excess cream left over a wide area. Please confirm if that is so. I stopped using it now for a few days. Going to see my doctor if it doesn't improve in a few days. how long did it take for the bleeding rash to disappear? What did your doctor prescribe for it?
