About 2 months ago I went to dr. and was diagnosed with thrush. I had just had a vag. YI. He said he would test me for hiv, chlamydia and ghonnorea. He did a swab of my throat and took blood. All came back negative. (I could have been exposed 1 time 2 1/2- 3 mths earlier) The YI and thrush went away until the following month. The YI came back (may have never actually gone away) So I treated OTC again. It's now the 3rd mth and YI is back. Went to another dr. who said I may have cervisitis and put me on doxycycline.(Which she said would probably aggrivate YI) She said she wanted to test me for chlam and ghonn too. I told her about other tests and she said I COULD NOT have been tested that way. They would have had to do vaginal swab. What's going on? I have bill for the other tests...Which dr. is right? And what's with the cervisitis and YI's...I am going nuts! Now I think maybe I do have hiv and it was just too early to test...
