Hello,
I go through periods where my face gets red and dry. I can go for a long time having normal skin and then all of a sudden for about a week or more my face is really bad. It is dry and flaky, and very red on my forehead and cheeks. This morning when I got up I thought it looked better until I got out of the shower and it was bright red again. What can I do to make it go away? What causes it? My skin does not get red anywhere else, only my face.
Thanks for your help!

Are you using a facewash? If you are.. it might be too harsh on your skin. If it is, I would suggest getting a better facewash for sensitive skin.

Wow, funny you should post this question. Im going through the same exact thing. My dermatologist told me i had Rosacea but i think hes wrong. I think its just overly dry skin, like you said you have. Every lotion i try to use on it just irritates it. Im starting to lose hope, but something out there has to work. Please report back ifyou find anything out and i will do the same. Mike

If you're not prone to breakouts and it seems to be caused by dryness and hypersensitivity I would try Cetaphil cream.
