I am 21 and have very fair skin. I wear sunblock SPF 30 every single day. During a trip to the Bahammas, I must have sweated off a patch of sunblock on my forehead because ever since then, I have had brown hyperpigmentation. I am so tired of everyone always asking me if I am sunburned...it happened months ago! My dermatoligist told me that the reason this is happening is because of my birth control. But I don't want to go off the pill. Any recomendations? Hydroquinone cream did not work.

I had a brown hyperpigmentation on my cheek a couple years ago. My derm put this 'nitro-cold stuff" (not sure what its called) on my spot and it was gone in a few days. I tried the bleaching creams first but he told me they are a waste of time. Hope this helps.
