Like the topic indicate does anyone know to achieve that look?

And by meaning dry messy spike look i also meant bed head spike hairdo both styles is cool too...

reading some info on that look at http://www.hairboutique.com i came across an article of something called styling stick is this mostly for females and whats the difference between this and wax/pomade? anyone tried it? can use it to achieve what i want? i need to read more on it..

My fiance's cousin swears by "Spike It Hair Cement" that you can buy at Sally's Beauty Supply. She says it works well, holds all day, and still washes out easily without residue. You might try it. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Spike It Hair Cement by which company or brand name? Im in Canada so i guess there is no Sally's Beauty Supply store.

But the thing is hearing the name of that product it sounds so strong and leaving the hair really hard. I dont hate that kind of look, i do it sometimes.

Sorry i forgot to mention earlier that i now want to go for more a of a dry messy "soft" spike look or "soft" bed head look that hold all day. So it looks more natural not the cement hard hairdo.

hey man, i use a really cheap pomade i bought at target for a buck.. it leaves the hair sticky but it doesnt harden like sprays.. which i hate. I just ordered some stuff called matrix trix styling clay or somethin which was 20 bucks but i just want to try it out.. the dry messy look with a good hold is really hard to get.. you need to have short hair i find or your hair will just fall down.. i gotta cut mine like every 3 weeks... well good luck.

ah target its not in Canada i think...

about that clay stuff yep i tried it before and is it pretty good! but too bad its too expensive like $25-30. So once you get your product let me know how is it even though is probably not available near me. I dont recall seeing that product especially if its clay.

Yep i agree that dry messy spike look is pretty hard to obtain but i seen people on TV have it and its cool even with a little long hair. They must have proffesionals stylist or know what products to use. I wanna ask them!! lol

Shinobi....i know just the look u r talking about. All my guy friends do it. There is a brand called "Crew" for guys...which is sold all over the world in beauty salons. What you want to get is a little tub called "fiber".

Cosmo....and for u hun...the messy wet look, can be achieved by the same brand "Crew" but the little tub is called "pomade".

Goodluck guys...the spikey, messy look is definitly a sexy one!!
