View Full Version : regrowing eyebrow, Marti?

Hi, you've been an invaluable presence on this board, I was wondering if you could help me out.

Is there any way to regrow your eyebrow? There is a patch at the tip of one of my eyebrows that's bare. There are some thin hair growing from using rogaine, but they don't grow and fall out easily. The dermatologist said the hair loss is random and there isn't anything to do.

Any suggestions? Thanx.

Eyebrows are a funny thing - once plucked, they do not always regrow. If they are falling out due to any other reason, they also may not regrow. I will say that eyebrow hair does not shed and replace itself like the hair on our heads. Rogaine is only supposed to work on hair loss from the back crown of the head. Hair loss anywhere else will not benefit from applications of Rogaine.

The folicle of the eyebrow hair is very large, and once it is damaged by any means, the hairs usually do not regrow. Wish I could have been more helpful, but I don't know of anything that will work in this instance.
